Coach on WhatsApp
Your coach now lives in WhatsApp.
Text it like you would a real coach. It reads your full Intervals.icu history (power, pace, sleep, HRV), remembers your goals and the niggles, and tells you what to train and why. No new app to open.

A real coaching call, on WhatsApp
How WhatsApp coaching works
A coach in the app you already text in.
Text your coach, anytime
Message how you like. Tap out a quick question mid-session or after, wherever you are, and get a straight answer back.
Your morning check-in, in your chats
A short read on how you slept and trained lands in WhatsApp. Reply to move things around, or just get on with your day.
It all syncs to your calendar
Swap a session, flag that you are wrecked, add a note. Your Intervals.icu calendar and your watch update to match.
Opt in once, opt out with a message
Link your number in settings. Send "stop" at any time and the messages end. No lock-in, no nagging.
Also on Telegram
Prefer Telegram? Your coach is there too.
Message your coach on Telegram. Link once, then chat like a training partner. Same memory, same data, same plan.
Same coach, on the web
When you want room to think.
WhatsApp is for the daily back-and-forth. The web app is the full desk: long analyses, the plan laid out, and an approval queue for anything the coach wants to change. Same memory, same data, bigger screen.

Athlete feedback
Athletes who stopped guessing.
It backed my training right off and literally checked daily, providing recommendations. It’s already managed me through the edge of plantar fasciitis. The platform seems to be getting better every day.
Peter
Pro subscriber, runner
I’ve become heavily dependent on the daily check to know what to do each day.
Andrea
Pro, multi-sport
I was looking at two different tri bikes and it gave solid feedback. Best of all, it remembers my bike and setup.
Dave
Annual, triathlete
What it actually does
It remembers, listens, reads your data and plans.
Most AI tools forget you the moment you close the tab. This one holds months of context and turns your data into a plan that lands on your calendar. The chat is just the door.
It remembers
Remembers what you tell it
Tell it once: your goals, your philosophy, the way you like to train. It keeps what matters and brings it back next session. The chat is the record, so there are no profile forms to fill in.
It listens
Picks up your preferences
Say you hate intervals on a Monday, the bike’s in the shop, or you’re nursing an Achilles niggle. It picks that up, tags it, and works around it in the next plan. You never have to repeat yourself.
It analyses
Reads the numbers, in context
Power and pace curves, MMP, CTL/ATL/TSB, decoupling, cadence drift, sleep and HRV, training load. Read together and explained, not just plotted on a chart and left for you to interpret.
It plans
Plans around your calendar
Periodised plans up to 26 weeks: multi-sport, race-aware, calendar-aware. Workouts sync straight to Garmin and Wahoo. Change a date, add an event or swap a session, and the rest of the block re-plans around it.
Show the work
It reads the curve, then tells you what it means.
Power and pace curves, MMP fits, CTL/ATL/TSB, decoupling, cadence drift. The numbers are already in your data. It connects them, explains what they mean for your training, and shows the maths when you ask.

Straight to your watch
It writes the session. Your Garmin gets it.
Ask for a week over WhatsApp and it builds real structured workouts, with the right power, pace or heart-rate targets, then queues them for your approval. Say yes and they land on your Intervals.icu calendar and sync to Garmin, Wahoo, Zwift and Coros. Nothing to copy across by hand.

Talks at your level
Beginner, seasoned pro, data nerd. You’re covered.
Tell it who you are and how you talk. It matches: plain language for new athletes, periodization vocabulary for the self-coached, MMP and W′ for the data-first.
- 01
Beginner
Just getting started
Tell it you’re new and what you can manage today. It explains every workout in plain words, eases you in at a sensible volume, and builds from there. No wall of jargon.
- 02
Self-coached
Seasoned athlete
Proper periodisation across cycling, running, swimming and strength. Tapers when you should taper. Catches the boom week before it writes off the next two.
- 03
Data first
Engineer-grade analyst
W′ depletion, MMP fits, fitness and freshness curves, mean-max comparisons across phases. Talks back in your terms, and shows the maths when you ask for it.
Who finds it valuable
A coach for every kind of athlete.
Data-driven
You bring the numbers. It tells you what your power curve and TSB trend actually mean for next week.
Event preparation
Periodised blocks that build towards race day. Tracks your fitness against where it needs to be, and tapers at the right time.
Multi-sport
Cycling, running, swimming, strength, and combinations that single-sport platforms can’t plan together.
Self-coached
Real periodisation across cycling, running, swimming and strength. Structured training, not a random workout generator.
Time-crunched
Plans that fit the hours you actually have, and rebalance when a session falls through. Progress on limited time.
Returning from injury
Set your limits and the plan works within them. Gradual rebuild without pretending the setback didn’t happen.
Getting started
New to structured training? Tell it what you can manage today and it builds a sensible first block.
Boom-bust cycles
If you tend to overcook the big week, it caps the load so the next two survive. Progress you actually absorb.
Adaptive athletes
Chronic fatigue, disabilities, and limitations that generic platforms ignore. Your constraints shape the plan.
How it compares
What a coach does, at app prices.
We built Intervals Pro because nothing else read the data we already had.
Strong structured cycling plans, adaptive training
Cycling only · no chat · no multi-sport
Industry standard, large coach ecosystem
Complex UI · coach-first, not athlete-first · feels like a spreadsheet
Reads Intervals.icu data, auto-generates plans
No chat interface · less adaptive
Personalised, accountability, real judgement
Expensive · slow feedback loop · limited availability
Reads your full data, chat, multi-sport, adapts in real time
AI, not human judgement
How it works
Three steps to get started.
01
Connect via Intervals.icu
Intervals.icu is a free training platform that pulls data from Garmin, Strava, Wahoo, Oura, WHOOP, and 12 more services into one place. Sign up takes two minutes.
02
Tell it what you’re training for
Your goals, your constraints, any injuries, the sports you care about. It reads your full history from day one, with no manual uploads and no data entry.
03
Train, check in, re-plan
Structured workouts land on your calendar and sync to your watch. Each morning it reads how you slept and trained, then adjusts. Miss a session and the rest of the block reshapes around it.
Your data, already connected
Powered by Intervals.icu
Free training analytics platform used by 160,000+ athletes. It connects all your devices and services into one place, and Intervals Pro reads your data from there.

Questions
Straight answers.
Can I coach via WhatsApp instead of the browser?
Yes. Link your WhatsApp number in settings and the coach arrives in your messages. Text a question; it reads your training data and responds the same way it does in the browser. Your calendar updates, your memory carries over, nothing changes except where you type. Send "stop" at any time to opt out.
I’ve never used Intervals.icu. Is that a problem?
No. Intervals.icu is the free open platform we read your data through. It pulls in Garmin, Strava, Wahoo, Zwift, Oura and more. Setup is a two-minute click-through; you don’t need to learn it or move off your existing apps. We use it as the data layer, you stay in your watch and your normal workflow.
Can I cancel any time? What’s the catch?
Monthly plans cancel immediately. Legacy annual plans run to the end of the billing period. No questions, no hoops. Start with a 14-day trial, then continue on Pro only if the coach is worth it for your training.
Is this just ChatGPT with a sports prompt?
No. ChatGPT can’t see your power curve, FTP history, sleep, CTL/ATL/TSB, or fitness chart, and it can’t push structured workouts to your Garmin. Intervals Pro reads all of that and uses purpose-built sports-science tooling. The chat is the interface; the engine underneath is specialised.
Does it work for running and triathlon, or just cycling?
All three plus swimming and strength. Multi-sport periodisation balances training load across disciplines so you don’t have to guess which session to cut when time runs short. Triathletes are one of the biggest groups using it.
What data does it actually read?
Everything in your Intervals.icu account: activities, power/pace/HR, fitness charts, wellness logs, weight, sleep (Garmin/Oura/WHOOP) and your workout calendar. Read-only on your raw data. New workouts go on your Intervals.icu calendar and sync to your watch.
